Aims
Stem cell research is one of the most promising research areas in biomedicine - it revolutionises
basic research and offers immense opportunities for the development of novel therapeutic concepts
The Austrian Society for Stem Cell Research will accompany and support the rapid progress
in stem cell research in the national context and has set itself the following goals:
Stem cell research is an essential determinant for a sustainable development of
the Austrian knowledge society and the future economic performance of the country.
-
Creating a platform for public relation
-
National and international networking and promotion of young talents
-
Improvement of the funding and research structure
